Summer is a great time to get out and get active, but I'll be honest a lot of us are lacking the energy we need to get moving. So we're going to start small with some first steps.

On Weds Aug, 3rd I am sharing food & exercises that help balance your metabolism and hormones. As well as how to maintain your weight loss and NOT gain it back. So if you liked yesterdays recipes and todays workouts you're going to love the reset.

Alright let's talk exercise...

1. Upper arms. Many women ask me how to tone the stubborn fat under their arms. Start with yoga. Yoga has many levels and shouldn't add stress to the body. Start with 10 mins of lifting and stretching your own body each morning and then you can progress over time.

2. The belly, mom bod or belly apron. Belly fat is a combination of what we eat and stress levels. If you want to reduce fat on your belly walk. All my clients do it, I do it and my client Sue lost 16 lbs doing it. It lowers cortisol and allows the body to rebalance. Start with walking daily. 10 mins.

3. ZUMBA The class that started it all. Look, if Zumba is terrifying lean into it. This community of crazy booty shakers is phenomenal. And we all need a hype crew. And people to motivate and support us. Find a class you love, go online, get out in the world and meet people. If not Zumba, try MixxedFit, Twerkout workout or POUND.

Yes. it's scary to put yourself out there, but this is where it starts. Also every one of these can be done on vacation, on a cruise, in a hotel room or at a friends house.

I had every one of these classes at my old gym and they're so much fun. Then we went on line. So there are lots of options. You find your favorite!

The key is get out there explore and find something that lights you up. No one can ever take that from you, you hear me?
