When I was 12, I'd squeeze in a size 9 because I loathed being a size 13.

Quickly, I ripped the belt loops and the inner thighs would bust open!

I was never skinny enough and always felt over weight.

Now at 38, I've worked hard on my mind and body, but it didn't happen with starving, exercise or getting into smaller pants.

And it wasn't because I knew what I was doing.

In fact, I was light years away from knowing anything about what my mind & body needed.

At 13, I became bulimic because I hated my body, by my late teens I threw up every meal and hit 118lbs. This threw my body out of whack and I wouldn't realize it for another 20 years.

During my 20's, I starved eating under 1200 calories, burgers with no buns and worked out even when I was sick as a dog.

None of it lasted. I'd burn out, get injured, get sicker and eventually binge.

Once I stopped restricting, the weight flooded back and I felt miserable and gave up. This is now why I help women lose weight naturally and understand their bodies.

Everything I did before 35, had a massive effect on my mind, body, hormones and metabolism.

I didn't know I needed the support of a coach, in fact I didn't believe in coaching.

But once I hit rock bottom, I knew it was time. I hired a coach who spoke to me and everything changed. She showed me how to believe in myself, change my mindset and work on everything holding me back. And in the years that followed she introduced me to other mentors...

Something I didn't realize I needed.

-I met a mindset coach and she helped me break through my fears around food, my past diet mindset and trauma.

-Then I met a female hormone and metabolism expert and he showed me why my body did what it did and how I could work with it to lose weight over 30 and after dieting for years.

-And then there was the shaman who showed me how to break through self sabotage and work on my inner childhood trauma.

All of this to say, none of this was about diet, exercise or losing weight. And I am not perfect.

My weight and dieting issues went beyond food and exercise, they were stuck in my past and ruining my future.
