Ever feel like your body is changing and don't know why?

When I spoke to my client Jenny she felt the same way. Her body felt like it was working against her.

No matter how little she ate, she would gain weight.

She was skeptical about trying to lose weight because her and her body had been at odds for years.

She'd been thin her whole life, but when she became a mama and after 2 pregnancies, she gained 100lbs.

When we spoke she felt miserable.

Defeated.

Exhausted.

And...

Confused!

I could immediately see why.

Her meals needed adjusting, her movement needed to change and her metabolism needed to get back in a balance...

But most of all...

It was her mindset that needed the most work. She lost 20lbs, but still felt like she wasn't doing enough.

It took us months to change her self sabotaging thoughts, but we checked in every week, made adjustments and even when she went out to eat Mexican food, skipped breakfast and felt miserable the next day, I assured her she was fine.

This is something I do with all my clients. I let them know what is happening in their bodies even though their mind wants to tell them otherwise.

Enjoying a night out is vital to staying on track because we all want that freedom.

And as soon as she recognized she was in control she built a better relationship with food and her body.

Now she has lost over 70lbs and kept it off for over 2 years :).
