💫DO YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE TO RESTRICT & STARVE TO LOSE WEIGHT?💫 Try these 10 Tips instead!

Published almost 2 years ago • 1 min read

My client Sue was 65 years old, lost 16lbs and ate out 90% of her time in my 12 week program. And I know if you want the same it is 100% available to you, too.

If we think starving is the answer to weight loss after 35, we have to switch that mindset and strategy today.

👉🏽I am sharing my 10 tips for eating out, losing weight and working with your hormones after 35.🧬

So many ladies think starving or “being good” on a weight loss journey involves giving up eating out.

❌NOT true!❌

We can control what’s in our food way more at home, but it doesn’t mean that going out – even a few times a week – is off the table.

Here are 10 principles that you can easily follow that will continue to support your health and fitness goals:

1. Decide before you go – looking at the menu ahead of time. Make a healthy choice. It’s a game changer.

2. Balance your plate with protein, carbs and fats. Order your protein grilled, baked, or broiled.

3. If you’re having an appetizer, choose a salad with vinegar-based dressing or a broth based soup and skip the toppings.

4. Order all sauces and dressings on the side.

5. Indulge a little – either a glass of wine or a few bites of a dessert or bread. This is a huge mindset shift and part of balance and sustainability.

6. Ask for vegetables to come steamed and skip the added butter. Or just get a little on the side and add a dab 😉.

7. Drink a good amount of water before arriving to the restaurant and when you sit down. Many of us don’t drink enough water.

8. Skip chips, dips or heavy sides and ask for fruit, veggies or double protein.

9. Don’t feel guilty asking for substitutions.

10. Don’t feel pressure to eat all of your food – it’s ok to have leftovers! 🙂

❤I love going out to eat as much as the next person, so I hope that these help you enjoy that part of life while still staying on track with your health and fitness!

And as always, if you know you need more support, guidance, and accountability, I got you.

Hit reply and I’ll be in touch with more on how to lose the bloating, gain energy and balance hormones.

To your health,

P.S. Sue's amazing results 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Ever feel like your body is changing and don't know why? When I spoke to my client Jenny she felt the same way. Her body felt like it was working against her. No matter how little she ate, she would gain weight. She was skeptical about trying to lose weight because her and her body had been at odds for years. She'd been thin her whole life, but when she became a mama and after 2 pregnancies, she gained 100lbs. When we spoke she felt miserable. Defeated. Exhausted. And... Confused! I could...

After a decade in women's health, I know eating enough is 1 of the biggest struggles for us women. Everything out here says eat less, workout more and if that worked we'd all be thin and fit. So skip that and the powdered food. If we want to lose weight after 35 and work with our hormones we must adopt healthy eating habits. And that means giving our body what it needs to gain energy, release fat and feel satisfied! We have to listen to our bodies and eat enough INSTEAD of eating 1200...

When I was 12, I'd squeeze in a size 9 because I loathed being a size 13. Quickly, I ripped the belt loops and the inner thighs would bust open! I was never skinny enough and always felt over weight. Now at 38, I've worked hard on my mind and body, but it didn't happen with starving, exercise or getting into smaller pants. And it wasn't because I knew what I was doing. In fact, I was light years away from knowing anything about what my mind & body needed. At 13, I became bulimic because I...
